Position OverviewThe Director, eCommerce Merchandising will drive commercial performance through best‑in‑class digital merchandising strategies across the eCommerce channel. The role owns the end‑to‑end onsite merchandising experience, focusing on maximizing conversion, customer engagement, UPT, and lifetime value, in partnership with Marketing, Product, Planning, Digital Experience, and Regional teams.
What You’ll DoMerchandising Strategy & Commercial OwnershipDefine and execute a global eCommerce merchandising strategy aligned to product, commercial, and growth objectives.Own onsite performance KPIs (conversion, AOV, UPT, sell-through, revenue).Translate seasonal and commercial priorities into clear onsite strategies across homepage, PLP, PDP, and campaigns.Manage on‑hand inventory with Merchandising and Planning to ensure alignment with eCommerce demand, optimal availability, and maximized revenue.Onsite Experience & PresentationLead digital presentation standards across categories and collections.Oversee taxonomy, navigation, search, and product discoverability.Launches & TradingPartner with Planning, Merchandising, Marketing, and Digital Content to execute campaigns, product launches, and peak trading moments.Drive agile trading decisions based on real-time performance, inventory and customer signals.Accelerate category growth through strategic merchandising decisions.Optimize end‑of‑life strategies to balance brand integrity and sell‑through.Analytics & OptimizationApply data‑driven insights to shape content and merchandising strategies.Enable a test‑and‑learn approach to continuously optimize performance.Partner with Analytics and CRO teams to prioritize experiments unlocking commercial upside.Establish insights‑driven frameworks for product placement, cross‑sell, and personalization opportunities.Global & Cross‑Functional LeadershipSet global merchandising standards and best practices while enabling regional relevance and localization.Drive best‑in‑class online merchandising through scalable processes and a culture focused on continuous improvement.Lead and develop a high‑performing eCommerce merchandising team.Serve as a key stakeholder in digital transformation initiatives.Let’s Talk About You8–12+ years of experience in eCommerce merchandising, digital retail, or online trading, preferably within premium or luxury retail.Proven track record of driving commercial growth through onsite merchandising optimization.Strong understanding of customer journeys, digital best practices, and omnichannel commerce.Highly analytical, leveraging data to influence strategy and execution.Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable operating at executive level.Key Success MetricsEcommerce revenue growth and contribution.Improvement in conversion rate, AOV, and UPT.Sell‑through and inventory productivity.Customer engagement and repeat purchase behavior.Speed and effectiveness of campaign and launch execution.What’s in it For YouComprehensive and competitive Total Rewards Program.Opportunities for career growth through internal and external programs.Recognition programs (Goose Rewards & ICON Rewards).Donation matching and paid volunteer time.Access to tools and resources supporting physical and mental health.Inspiring leaders and colleagues who support growth.Salary InformationSalary Range: $145,000.00 – $181,000.00 per year. This range is a guideline and not a guaranteed offer; final compensation will depend on experience, skills, and alignment with the role.
